37 weeks
How far along: 37 weeks 2 days
Gender: Boy
Weight: As promised I drank my water like a good girl this week and am pretty sure my weight is accurate this week. My two week weight gain is a whopping 3.6lbs for 28.2 lb total weight gain...1.5 weeks to go....
Maternity: Maxi skirts are my uniform of choice. I have 3 great ones that are in constant rotation.
Stretch marks: Um yeah. Like I said 1.5 weeks to go
Belly button in or out: No change here
Sleep: Still sleeping very well thank goodness. Most days if I put myself to bed at a reasonable hour I wake up feeling rested...I'll enjoy that while it lasts!
Best/ Worst moment of the week: This weeks a combo: As large as I feel I was shocked when my OB told me that I'm actually measuring 2 weeks behind where I should be. When you measure more than a week behind for 3 consecutive OB visits you earn yourself a free ticket to Maternal Fetal Medicine for an ultrasound which luckily for me they scheduled first thing the very next morning. I had been through this before with Harper so I wasn't AS worried as I had been the first time as my Dr very accurately put it "You probably just make small babies BUT we'd rather be overly cautious than neglegent". Sure thing Doc, I can get on board with that reasoning. I haven't heard back from the Doc yet, but from what the ultrasound tech told me the fluid levels and cord flow were both great and that's what they're looking for. She said he was measuring in the 14% (10% is where they become concerned) and her best guess at his weight was 5lbs and change. So it looks as though Shaun and I just make really small babies and DEFINITELY over shot the mark when we bought a size 3 mo coming home outfit!
Miss anything: I'd really like to go out for a nice long run (more on that below)
Cravings: Cherries. I was just talking to my sister in law about how much I looooove cherries but refuse to pay $7+ a pound for them. It was my lucky day Saturday when I found them on sale at Hannaford for $2.99 a lb!!! I may have already eaten the whole bag and just might be stopping at the store on the way home for more....just maybe.
Anything making you sick or queasy: Not really
Running: One 3 mile run this week and that.was.it. womp womp womp. As you can tell from my weight gain this past week it was a big growth spurt week for Bruce (which is good, the little peanut needs to pack on some lbs) just walking around was triggering some good Braxton Hicks and I was pretty uncomfortable so I didn't push it. I didn't realize how much that physical activity had helped to keep the pregnancy crazies at bay until I took a week off .... ohmygosh....did a nice hill workout last night and feel MUCH better today :)
Looking forward to: My mom and her husband arrived safe and sound from Texas and are at their lake house for the next three weeks. Looking forward to kicking up my feet by the water and letting my mother chase the Terrible Two monster around for a little bit :D
Different this time around: Well apparently nothing!! Small babies, ultrasounds...the whole nine...I"m having some serious dejavu!!

36 Weeks
How far along: 36 weeks 2 days
Gender: Boy...hopefully that hasn't changed?
Weight: Ummm didn't weigh myself this morning. I haven't been great about water consumption the past few days (I know I know) so I know it wouldn't have been accurate. I promise to be better next week.
Stretch marks: Even though it feels like my belly is bursting at the seams the little stretch marks below my belly button are holding steady.
Belly button in or out: Duh
Sleep: It takes an act of Congress to roll over but I have no issue falling asleep and staying asleep. As a matter of fact I barely remember my million trips to the bathroom througout the night...The other morning Shaun said to me "wow you were up alot last night" my answer "was I?" Yup. Tired.
Worst moment of the week: LIfe is pretty good :)
Best moment of the week: Had a great weekend celebrating a little ones 1st birthday at the lake and our all of our favorite men on Father's day.

Sand....oh how I HATE sand. Thank you magical baby powder you save my sanity
Ups and downs with these two crazy kids :)
Miss anything: It's summer(ish) it's hot (kinda) I'd really like a cold beer. Oh and to be able to bend over to put on my shoes rather than having to contort my legs to the side to do it...yeah that'd be nice.
Cravings: See above. And Strawberry shortcake....actually just strawberries and cool whip, hold the biscuit.
Anything making you sick or queasy: Not digging chicken these days but that's about it. If anything I like food a little TOO much :)
Running: 9 miles running 30 min hills on Bad Larry. Shaun likes to come down to the basement and shake his head in wonder at the spectacle that is me running....I'm so glad I have Bad Larry, I wouldn't scar other gym goers by engaging in this activity in public.
Looking forward to: A BBQ with out of state family this weekend and Harper's first baseball game!
Different this time around: Apparently I'm sleeping better this time around than last but probably the biggest different is my discomfort. I literally feel as though I can feel my skin stretching (hence the stretch marks) His movements are very uncomfortable (and he moves ALL.THE.TIME) because it feels like there just isn't enough room for him in there. I will be shocked if this little boy is not significantly bigger than his sister.

35 weeks
How far along: 35 weeks 2 days
Gender: Baby boy
Weight: 1lb --> 24.6 lbs total and feeling every oz
Maternity clothes: Meh
Stretch marks: Well....at least they haven't gotten any bigger?
Belly button in or out:
Sleep: Sleeping pretty well despite the recent rise in temperature but I have found that regardless of what time I go to bed I am AWAKE at 4:45 with no hope of falling back asleep.
Worst moment of the week: Ahhhhh so nice that it finally feels a bit like summer!!! However with the heat comes swelling and swelling for me = cankles with capital C. Not my most attractive look.
Best moment of the week: My SIL was kind enough to take the little lady off my hands for the weekend so that I could go to a bridal shower on Saturday and the hubs and I could go on our first date since....ummmm...our anniversary in October <-- 8 months ago eek!!
We went to dinner and bowling with friends, supported other friends competing in their first triathlon and spent a few hours meandering through the Old Port Festival (even saw a marriage proposal!) By Sunday afternoon we were missing our girl and ready for her to come home but dang it was good to be footloose and fancy free for a weekend....probably our last for quite awhile.
Miss anything: My lovely slim ankles
Cravings: Seafood. Satisfied that craving at the Old Port Fest. Shaun and I went to the Portland Lobster Company to watch a band I've been wanting to see for quite some time. He went to get a beer for himself (jerk) and a soda for me and also came back with a delicious lobster roll for me which I scarfed down in roughly 2.2 seconds. Had he told me he spent $18 on the damn thing I would have given it the attention a sandwich of that price deserves.
Anything making you sick/queasy: There isn't any one "thing" making me feel sick/queasy but I have had bouts of just not feeling "well". The other night when we were out to dinner I just felt dizzy and just off. Since then I have had similar sporadic episodes but I'm chalking it up to the heat and being well...pregnant!
Running: I managed a solid 9 miles this week. I was no longer running at this point in my pregnancy with Harper so I consider this a milestone to be proud of :)
Looking forward to: My first 4 day work week, a lovely ladies 1st birthday this Saturday and a trip to the lake house for Father's Day :)
Different this time around: I'm still running (thank you Bad Larry) and "Bruce's" room isn't finished yet (oops) otherwise everything else seems about the same.

34 weeks
How far along: 34 weeks 3 days
Gender: BOY
Weight gain: 1.2 -->23.6 total (gulp)
Maternity clothes: Duh
Stretch marks: *sniff* yes *sniff* This was a source of a teeny tiny (HUGE) meltdown this week. I had been feeling as though my poor stomach was just stretched to the absolute max for the past few days when one morning I got out of the shower and was applying my daily lotion....HO-LY SHMIDT....there they were two tiiiiiny stretch marks on either side of my belly button.... "Bruce" is clearly not the little peanut his sister was and I won't be escaping unscathed as I did the first time around. Bikini's are overrated right??
Belly button: It's out..staying out.
Sleep: Been sleeping pretty decent despite it getting increasingly difficult to shift from one side to the other.
Worst moment of the week: Work has been BUUUUUSY!!! The past two weeks have been the final push at my morning job. I know I will appreciate the extra money during maternity leave but mama is TI-RED!!

Best moment of the week: This:
Watching students I've worked with all year graduate is very special and interpreting at Merrill Auditorium isn't bad either ;)
(Three cheers for NOT falling off that little box they had us stand on!!)
Miss anything: Unrestricted mobility
Cravings: Iced coffee. Yummmmm. Shaun's become quite the barista so that I don't have to keep buying my iced coffee, what a guy!
Anything making you sick or queasy: My new stretch marks wahhhhhhhhh!
Running: 9 miles for the week. Still feeling good while running but I'm noticing that it's taking me longer to "recover" from even 3 miles. We'll keep plugging along until something changes :)
Looking forward to: I'll miss the paycheck from my morning job but that job being over for the school year means I'm down to 4 day work weeks until I'm out on maternity leave. Yes please and thank you!!
Different this time around: Nothing really, everything seems pretty par for the course
