Week 33

Harper and I "Upta Camp"
How far along? 33 weeks 4 days
Her size: baby girl is the size of a cantaloupe!
Total weight gain: 1.0 for the week 22.2 lbs total
Running/Races?  9 miles for the week.  Lesson of the week--> Humidity and running while very pregnant do NOT mix, even if it is only 3 miles.
Stretch marks? None...yet
Sleep: Still sleeping like a champ and trying to enjoy it while it lasts
Best moment this week: My last day at my part time job. I'll miss the kids and the people I worked with, but the schedule? Not so much.
Miss Anything? A cool beverage of the adult variety
Movement:  Oh yes, especially after meals and whenever any music is playing. We're also at the stage where we're starting to see alien type movement in the belly area (not going to lie..kind of freaky)
Food cravings: Fresh fruit and cucumbers please...
Anything making you queasy or sick: ...hold the chicken...indefinitely
Gender: GIRL!
Labor Signs: negative
Symptoms: nothing to write home about unless you count the pang of anxiety I experience every time someone says "OH! not much longer now!"
Belly Button in or out? sigh...the turkey is done
Wedding rings on or off? ON
Happy or Moody most of the time: Happy!
Looking forward to: The baby shower being held for a coworker and I by the lovely ladies we work with, it's a Diaper Derby!

Week 32

Harper and I--> Marathon spectators
If I can't run marathons anymore I can at least support those who do!

How far along? 32 weeks 3 days
Her size: Had my weeks mixed up last week...THIS week baby girl is the size of a pineapple!
Total weight gain: 1.4 for the week making the hurdle over the 20lb mark for 21.2 lbs total
Running/Races?  Solid 9 miles and a lot of cross training this week.  Just as the weather gets nicer my mileage gets shorter...the ultimate runners irony :(
Stretch marks? None...yet
Sleep: Still sleeping like a champ and trying to enjoy it while it lasts
Best moment this week: Driving the course supporting all my favorite trackies running the Sugarloaf Marathon yesterday.  Last time I was there it was as a runner and I have to say it was MUCH less painful being a spectator!! I got a nice little sunburn which means it was hot as HECK for the poor runners but they all toughed it out like the champs they are :)
Miss Anything? Bending over without grunting, lol
Movement:  All the time, especially if there's music playing
Food cravings: Watermelon is the craving of the week, tis the season!
Anything making you queasy or sick: Nothing at the moment CHICKEN
Gender: GIRL!
Labor Signs: negative
Symptoms: Being all over the marathon course and out in the hot sun all day yesterday landed me with my first case of swollen feet. Nothing a little elevation and ice packs couldn't take care of :)
Belly Button in or out? barely an innie whether I'm laughing or not
Wedding rings on or off? ON
Happy or Moody most of the time: Happy!
Looking forward to: Starting my 4 day a week summer schedule next week!

Week 31

Freakishly amazing at 31weeks 3 days

The girls kind enough to slow waaaay down and stay with me
Live action shot!
Finish time--> Harper 32:22  Mommy 32:23

How far along? 31 weeks 3 days
Her size: Baby girl is the size of a pineapple
Total weight gain: One more bonus week of zero weight gain, pretty sure I fixed that with birthday cake this weekend ;)
Running/Races?  11 miles this week including my last race of this pregnancy.  While I plan to continue to run until little girl makes her arrival, it's time to hang up the racing shoes.  My last race couldn't have been more perfect --> The Mother's Day 5k!  The weather was gorgeous, the crowd HUGE (3,000 runners) and my support crew? The best, hand down! <3
Stretch marks? None...yet
Sleep: Lights out for this girl thanks to a busy busy week and nightly back rubs from the hubs (thanks honey, you are the best!)
Best moment this week: I had quite a few BEST moments this week, it would be impossible to pick just one! Dinner out with trackies, birthday, fist (kind of) Mother's Day, last race before Harper's arrival, the last of the nursery furniture arriving....I had an all around GREAT week :)
Miss Anything? speed workouts! Never ever ever thought I'd say that, but I miss being able to go for a run and going all out.
Movement:  Constantly! Her new favorite resting spot is my bladder...
Food cravings: Still cucumber sandwiches and lime popsicles, if this child is not born green I will be amazed!
Anything making you queasy or sick: Nothing at the moment
Gender: GIRL!
Labor Signs: negative
Symptoms: Woke up Sunday morning with a lovely chest cold.  I seem to have the great fortune (sarcasm) of picking up any illness that comes within a 20 foot radius of me. Don't be offended if you are sick and I avoid you like the plague.
Belly Button in or out? Outtie when I laugh....Innie all other times
Wedding rings on or off? ON
Happy or Moody most of the time: Happy!
Looking forward to: Now that all of the furniture is here, I'm looking forward to organizing! This weekend we're headed up to Sugarloaf for the Marathon, except this time I will be a spectator, watching all my crazy friends run!!!

30 Weeks

How far along? 30 weeks 3 days
Her size: Baby girl is the size of a head of cabbage
Total weight gain: Holding steady at 19.8...for...just...one...more...week
Running/Races?  I did MUCH better this week getting all my workouts in and was on track to hit my weekly 12 miles until I came down with whatever 24 hour bug was going around Fri night.  12 hours of puking put a real damper on my Saturday morning 4 miler, so I finished up 8 miles again (definitely NOT the most fun I've ever had, but on the bright side woke up Sunday morning feeling like a new woman!)
Stretch marks? None...yet
Sleep: My mind seemed to be awfully busy this week, which made for some restless nights
Best moment this week: Harper's baby shower! Luckily whatever ailed me had cleared out of my system by the time I woke up Sunday morning so I was able to enjoy the wonderful baby shower hosted by my mother in law and sister in law.  Harper is a very lucky girl indeed to have so many people excited for her arrival and was showered with love, baby goodies and BOOKS!!! Oh so many books!!! Shaun and I were both so grateful and thankful to all those who made the trip to celebrate with us and sent their love from afar!
Miss Anything? painting my own toenails
Movement:  Constantly! I learned this week that it is not so easy to settle an upset stomach when you have someone using it as a trampoline!
Food cravings: Still cucumber sandwiches and lime popsicles
Anything making you queasy or sick: Jut the stomach bug I got this week (booo)
Gender: GIRL!
Labor Signs: negative
Symptoms: I think we've pretty much covered the fact that I had a miserable Friday evening/Saturday morning
Belly Button in or out? Outtie when I laugh....Innie all other times
Wedding rings on or off? ON
Happy or Moody most of the time: Happy!
Looking forward to: My birthday (Saturday) and my last race of the pregnancy--> the Mother's Day 5K on Sunday :)  I have some great girlfriends who are super fast but are kind enough to waddle the 3.1 miles with me...they're the best!
