Week 29

How far along? 29 weeks 3 days
Her size: Baby girl is the size of a butternut squash
Total weight gain: Harper had a growth spurt this week! Yes I'm blaming it on her, it couldn't possibly have been the 1 or 2 (or 5)oreos I snuck from Shaun's secret stash....1.8 lbs for the week which makes us juuuuuust shy of 20 lbs total.
Running/Races?  Life got in the way this week and I only logged a measly 8 miles.  Oh well, can't be a rock star all the time, back on the horse this week!
Stretch marks? None...yet
Sleep: Another busy week which means LIGHTS OUT! No problem sleeping this week!
Best moment this week: The best moment this week was also the toughest.  Shaun's family is losing someone very near and very dear to all of our hearts.  It is not very often that you have the opportunity to say a final goodbye to someone who will be passing shortly, give a final hug and one more I Love You, but on Sunday the family got to do just that.  There were lots of laughs, lots of tears but most of all LOTS of LOVE.  The memory of the entire extended family coming together yesterday will stay with me for years to come <3
Miss Anything? Bending over without grunting..lol
Movement:  Constantly!
Food cravings: Cucumber sandwiches have been on the menu everyday this week for lunch! And of course a popsicle or two after dinner at night ;)
Anything making you queasy or sick: No change from last week...chicken still tops the Most UNwanted list
Gender: GIRL!
Labor Signs: negative
Symptoms: Nothing out of the ordinary :)
Belly Button in or out? Outtie when I laugh....Innie all other times
Wedding rings on or off? ON
Happy or Moody most of the time: Happy!
Looking forward to: TUESDAY NIGHT TRACK!!!! I'm going to be exiled to the slow lanes this season but I can't wait to see some of my favorite faces again!

Week 28

How far along? 28 weeks 4 days
Her size: Baby girl is the size of a chinese cabbage
Total weight gain: Another week...another pound....18 total
Running/Races?  No races this week.  I am officially unable to run without my support belt on, baby girl is too heavy.  12 miles for the week.
Stretch marks? None...yet
Sleep: It was go go go this week, most nights not getting home until 8:30-9:00pm...needless to say it was lights out! Noooo problems sleeping this week!
Best moment this week: After my morning run and grocery shopping on Sunday I played couch comando for the rest of the day.  How do you know when you're tired?  When you are able to nap while your husband uses a nail gun and air compressor in the very next room! She's also started hiccuping which is a really neat feeling :)
Miss Anything? A nice glass of Reisling...mmmmm....
Movement:  Oh yes! My future Rockette holds dance practice all day long but blessedly takes a break in the pm hours :)
Food cravings: Still popsicles...I've made it my mission to try every flavor that Edy's offers...I'm currently working my way through Pineapple, tangerine, grape and my personal favorite...lime!
Anything making you queasy or sick: Chicken, as always and eggs have been hit or miss lately
Gender: GIRL!
Labor Signs: negative
Symptoms: Now that my head cold is gone I'm feeling like a new woman! Overall feeling really good!
Belly Button in or out? In...barely
Wedding rings on or off? ON
Happy or Moody most of the time: Happy!
Looking forward to: My work schedule slowing down some...this momma can't GO GO GO like she used to!

Week 27

Harper's first Red Sox game
Seriously? Does it look like she just ran a marathon?

How far along? 27 weeks 4 days
Her size: Baby girl is the size of a head of cauliflower
Total weight gain: another 1lb in the books, 17 lbs total
Running/Races?  Just a few easy runs this week for a total of 12 miles.  I'm noticing the bump is getting a bit heavier, making the belly band a necessity for runs now.
Stretch marks? None...yet
Sleep: Two words--> head cold.  That made sleeping pretty near impossible.  Thank god for breathe right strips, they may not be the most attractive (Shaun shudders every time I put one on) but they allowed me to get what little sleep I got this week so I'll take it.
Best moment this week: It was a Boston filled weekend!! Shaun and I went to a Red Sox game with his sister and husband and then I caught up with some friends and spent the night so I could watch my girl Lyss finish her first BOSTON MARATHON the next day! It was hot as Haiti out (in the 90's) but she handled it like a pro and finished in 4:15:39!! My all time best marathon, run in ideal weather conditions, was a 4:11 so needless to say I am MORE than impressed and we were all SUPER proud of her!!!
Miss Anything? Breathing out of both nostrils!
Movement:  YES! She's definitely getting stronger, her movements are becoming more forceful and have a tendency to jump me these days
Food cravings: Edy's popsicles, any flavor (although lime and lemonade are my current favorites)  It's become a two popsicle a night addiction...I may need to seek help
Anything making you queasy or sick: When I'm sick nothing sounds good...except my popsicles ;)
Gender: GIRL!
Labor Signs: negative
Symptoms: Have I mentioned I have a head cold? Otherwise feel great!
Belly Button in or out? IN....barely
Wedding rings on or off? ON
Happy or Moody most of the time: Happy!
Looking forward to: Finishing up the construction/painting in Harper's brand new room and having NO plans this weekend :)

Her size: Baby girl is the size of a head of lettuce
Total weight gain: 1 lb for the week, 16 lbs total
Running/Races?  It has always been a goal of mine to (safely) run a half marathon while pregnant.  I am happy to report that I can now check that box off my bucket list.  Harper and I crossed the finish line in 2:16:04.
Stretch marks? None...yet
Sleep: Still sleeping really well
Best moment this week: Crossing the finish line today was easily the moment of the week, but I'm also happy to report that I survived the dreaded glucose test and do NOT have gestational diabetes :)
Miss Anything? Feeling pretty content these days

Her size: Baby girl is the size of an eggplant
Total weight gain: Hit the 15lb mark courtesy of my 1.8 weight gain this week
Running/Races?  Another 16 miles in the books this week.  Investing in a pregnancy belt this week to help take some of Harper's weight off my poor bladder and make running a tad more enjoyable.
Stretch marks? None...yet
Sleep:  Thankfully I've found a comfortable sleeping position and am sleeping like a baby (ummm or with baby) these days
Best moment this week: SECURING DAYCARE! One thing off the "to do" list and 8,453 left to go! Also catching up with my some much missed family and accompanying my 3 year old niece to her first manicure, things I look forward to doing with Harper someday :)
Miss Anything? Sunshine and warmth...it can come back any day now
Movement:  She's a mover and a shaker (and kicker)
Food cravings: Still loving the grill and lime popsicles
